Jeaniene was born 1967 in Durban and is currently living in Johannesburg, South Africa. The popskiet gallery and archive originated in 2006. Inspirations are drawn from culture, African mythology, history and life's idiosyncrasies.

The archive is self-taught work with photographic observations in traditional medicinal culture, street art, gender and travel portraits.

The gallery is a current body of apocalyptic, voyeuristic meanderings through the streets of  Johannesburgs urban landscape.
